Medicinal Gardening

Want to take the plunge this year and grow medicine as well as food? Wondering what herbs may be of benefit to you and yours and aren't sure where to start? Wondering how to work in medicinal plants into your edible garden this year? Looking to grow in containers?

This class, led by a trained herbalist, will run through plants that are useful for many households. Common needs will be explored as well as custom needs from attendees.

She will then direct you to look at the handouts to find your USDA zone, figure our your hours of sunlight, and what plants are already planned- to make for perfect companion planting and positioning this year.

Attendees not only get handouts to help them plot their garden and include medicinals, but they also get a 10% discount on medicinal seeds (anywhere, any time) or seedlings (north central West Virginia or Columbus, OH pick up in time for last frost- mid May).
